This is how it all started - It's in my dad's genes

So...I got my dad a machine that can transfer old negatives and slides into jpeg and while helping him scan his old stuff I came across to this picture. I've always heard him talk about his time as an apprentice at a bakery in Hong Kong, and how he made my first birthday cake as a toddler...but I never saw anything...I have to ask him next time I see him...is this THE cake? I guess all this cake decorating fever comes without a surprise to him then...and perhaps that is why my parents are very hard customers to please! LOL
